Knobs & switches
Three dishes from the same set snuck in here somehow, not sorry about it. The plum blossom glaze has better restraint than half the "minimalist" products in this stack.

Added the barometer next to the plum blossom cup and realized both are doing the same thing—one measurement, one pattern, no extra marks. Restraint isn't a style choice here, it's the whole design.
Kept adding porcelain pieces before I noticed the headphones and the watch fit here too. Restraint isn't a material, I guess, it's a spacing decision. Same negative space, different centuries.
Not sure the plum blossom bowl belongs here but the proportions kept pulling me back so it stays. Ferrari concept is the odd one too, texture over restraint, but the surface control earned it a spot.
Three pieces from the same dining set keep pulling me back for the same reason: the plum blossom pattern never fights the form. The krater's the odd one in, but the restraint in how the red figures sit against the black is the same instinct. Adding it because negative space is do
Half these aren't knobs or switches at all, but the hand-to-object moment is the same. That ketchup lid is doing more design work than most apps I use daily.
Added the Aston Martin piece more for the grille debate than the interface, but it's staying anyway. The real spine of this stack is still the Braun calculator — everything else is just circling it.
Not sure why the Manet snuck in here but the light in it does the same thing the Braun TG 60 does — nothing extra, just enough. Keeping it.
Not sure how a plum blossom dish ended up next to a pen screwdriver but the restraint in both is the same, just less obvious in one. Keeping the church photo for the door hardware, ignore the rest of it.
Haven't added anything in a while. Been staring at the same Rams shelf photo trying to figure out why the spacing feels right and most spacing doesn't.
