Fotohane Darkroom

Fotohane Darkroom is a non-profit, volunteer-led photography initiative based in Mardin, southeastern Turkey, near the borders of Syria and Iraq. Founded by Serbest Salih and Amar Kılıç, the organization offers free analog photography workshops for children, creating spaces where they can come together, build friendships, and develop skills in visual storytelling. The young participants learn the full analog photographic process, and are encouraged to share their own stories and explore their communities through images.
