Botanical archivist, Singapore. Mostly here for the seed pods.

Glasshouse

Haven't added anything new to Glasshouse in weeks, just keep opening it to look at that Amorphophallus seed pod again. Something about the structure holding up even after the flower's long gone.

Glasshouse

Added the Nimrod vase mostly for how it holds a single stem upright without fuss — good bones, like a well-pressed specimen sheet. Still thinking about what deserves that kind of attention in here.

Glasshouse

Odd mix this week but the logic is textile weight and repeat — suzani stitching, that shawl's border, Utrecht velvet's nap all doing the same thing structurally as a seed pod. The tomb one snuck in for the flower sketch on the back, honestly.

Botanical plates

Adding the Maize God plate mostly for the flower it emerges from — that curled bract structure again, same logic as the seed pods I keep saving. The Amazon bulk-buying note doesn't belong here, will move it later.
