Copyright
Last updated June 10, 2026
Stacks is built for collecting and referencing — and that only works if creators’ rights are respected. Here’s how we handle copyright.
Your content
Anything you create and save on Stacks remains yours. Making a stack public doesn’t transfer any rights to us or to other users.
Collecting from the web
Saving material for private reference is what Stacks is for. When you make a stack public, you’re responsible for having the right to share what’s in it. When in doubt, keep it private and link to the source — cards keep their source URLs for exactly this reason.
Reporting infringement
If you believe content on Stacks infringes your copyright, email hello@stacks.plus with:
- the URL of the infringing content on stacks.plus;
- identification of the work you own and where the original lives;
- your name and contact details;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised, and that your report is accurate.
We review reports promptly and remove or disable access to infringing content.
Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, reply with an explanation and supporting detail. We’ll review and restore where the claim doesn’t hold.
Repeat infringement
Accounts that repeatedly infringe other people’s rights are closed.
